Each kit includes new upper and lower trim pieces, the LED optics, and a plug-and-play harness, all designed to upgrade the stock grille with ease.
Using the same automotive-grade optics and Osram LEDs that come standard in Morimoto's XB LED headlights, the amber DRL bars are insanely bright, easily visible even from afar in broad daylight! The daytime mode is so bright that the light bars auto-dim in parking light, low beam, or high beam mode to reduce glare at dusk or in the dark.
Put side-by-side during the day with other existing options in the aftermarket or anything you could DIY at home, and the quality, consistency, and intensity out of the Morimoto optics would make everything else look like a joke. Compatible with the OEM Platinum grille on 2020-2022 Super Duties. The XBG LED DRL inserts are extremely easy to install - they snap right into the mounting points for the existing upper and lower trim pieces and hold the DRL optics within. No modifications required.
The XBG DRL bars have two intensities that automatically illuminate day and night based on signals from the original headlight wiring. The default setup intercepts headlight signals from Super Duties with standard halogen headlights. An adapter harness is also included for trucks that came with original equipment LED headlights. No modifications required.
While the color/intensity is a guaranteed optical and Kelvin match for the Morimoto XB LED headlights (LF508 or LF556 Series), they'll also look great alongside a set of OEM LED or any other aftermarket headlights.
This is an insert kit only. You must have the OEM Platinum grille on your 2020-2022 Ford Super Duty. This kit will not work with other grille styles. The kit does not include a grille assembly - you must reuse your stock Platinum grille.
